Originally founded in 1926, C&W Berges GmbH have been constantly expanding and improving their range of Berges parts such as variable speed belts and Berges pulleys ever since. They no longer have a UK sales division so British companies must acquire their excellent products through specialist Berges parts suppliers YB Components.

Both Berges speed belts and Berges pulleys are used in a wide variety of industrial applications across many different sectors. These include textile processing machines, mixing machines, pumps and construction machinery, as well as machine tools, bottling or packing machines, conveying systems and agricultural machinery.

Lets look closer at some of the Berges parts suppliers can ship to businesses based in the UK.

Double Pulley Drive RF+b for Wide V-belts

The Double Pulley Drive RF+b is for wide variable Berges speed belts, consisting of a mechanical pulley mounted on a driving motor shaft. The accompanying Berges pulleys are spring-loaded and mounted on the driven shaft, and they combine to create an invariable centre distance which is also applicable for reverse direction.

Double Pulley Drive KRM+RF for Normal V-belts

These Double Pulley Drive KRM+RF Berges pulleys have been designed specifically for use with normal-sized variable speed belts. They are popular in special applications, with the ‘flat disk’ sheaves of the KRM series combining with the ‘comb-shaped’ surfaces of the RF.

Single Pulley Drive FSB for Wide V-belts

The Fsb spring pulley opens on both sides and works with a fixed counter pulley. Operators can adjust the speed simply by changing the centre distance using a motor slide or rocker. These excellent Berges speed belts and pulleys are available to UK-based companies through YB Components, the preeminent Berges parts suppliers.

Single Pulley Drive KM, FS for normal V-belts

This single Berges pulley drive has been designed for normal-sized variable speed belts and they work in conjunction with a fixed counter pulley. The spring-loaded Berges pulley can open on one side where the ‘flat disk’ sheave is, or open on both sides using the ‘comb-shaped’ sheaves. Again, the operator can adjust the speed easily by changing the centre distance using a motor slide or a rocker.
