Eyelink Conveyor Belts

Eyelink belts are metal conveyor belts consisting of interconnected wire mesh, links and segments. This construction provides a stable, accurate, and durable transport solution. Thanks to the various designs available, Eyelink belts are suitable for a wide range of applications in various industries.

Eyelink Belt Designs

  • OGB-L: Segments and links, equipped with localisation wire. Suitable for belt widths up to 6,500mm and tempritures from cryogenic to 600°C.
  • OGB: Traditional wire mesh design with interwoven links. Suitable for belt widths up to 6,500mm an temperatures up to 250°C.
  • OGB-LF & OGB-F: Flattened links for very small mesh openings, ideal for transporting small products, such as seeds. Available with the same options as OGB-L.

Balanced Weave Conveyor Belts

Tribelt manufacture balanced weave belts entirely in-house. Their open structure makes them particularly suitable for processes where ventilation, permeability or temperature resistance are essential. Whether is high temperatures in industrial ovens, sterilisation processes in pharmaceutical industry or transport in drying installations, Tribelt’s balanced weave belts deliver high performance under the most demanding conditions.

Applications

Tri-Flex belts are frequently used in installations where foodstuffs are cooled or heated in a controlled manner. Typical processes are:

Drive Elements

The sprocket acts as a mechanical element within transport or chain belt systems and is designed to provide direct, reliable power transmission without slippage. The combination with a chain belt, the sprocket ensures a positive connection between the shaft and the belt, enabling the system to achieve constant and accurate movement.

Specifications

Drive Elements: In-House production means they always fit perfectly with the belt and the application. For Eyelink belts (OGB-L & OGB) they offer 3 drive options

  • Tubular Drums: Are solid and equipped with milled teeth. This make them hygienic, extremely rigid, and suitable for heavy loads
  • Cage Drums: Have an open construction with welded discs and strips. (ideal for installations with heavy loads)
  • Drive Wheels: Are equipped with a special profile that ensures optimal power transmission and slip-free drive

For drive belts Tribelt also offer both friction and gear drives. With the Clear-Trac belt, for example, the positive gear prevents belt slip and keeps the belt running straight, even with large increases in width or length. Gears are available in POM or stainless steel with options for bore, keyway and locking.

Applications

  • Eyelink Belts: Drive wheel are often used foe light loads, for example baking ovens, cooling and freezing tunnels, and cleaning installations. For heavier processes, such as industrial ovens, they recommend tube or cage drums
  • Spiral Belts: Gear dives are used where a straight, stable run is required and slippage must be avoided at all costs
  • Tri-Flex Belts: Gears in combination with drums ensure maximum grip and trouble-free operation, with drum and gear speeds perfectly matched

Drive Elements for Balanced Weave Belts: Balanced weave belts are often used in cooling and baking processes, where stability and hygiene are essential.

  • Material: Usually stainless steel due to high temperatures and cleanability (available in plastic for lighter processes)
  • Tooth Profile: Adapted to the spiral shape for even load distribution
  • Bore and Hub: Customised according to shaft diameter and mounting method (keyway or tap hole) 
  • Finish: Smooth and hygienic, possibly hardened for high wear resistance
