The angular gear drive features a zinc die-cast housing with removable stainless steel shafts and durable polyacetal resin bevel gears. Bevel Gearboxes HUG

These miniaturised right-angle gear drives are designed for light-duty, manual, and short-term power transmission applications. The housing is injection moulded from glass-filled polyamide 6.6, offering low moisture absorption, minimal thermal expansion, and high rigidity, with versatile mounting options for both horizontal and vertical installation. Featuring a 1:1 gear ratio, 4mm shaft diameter, straight-cut bevel gears with a maximum backlash of 2°, and a maximum operating speed of 1000rpm, the gearboxes are lubricated for life and utilise sintered bronze bearings with electrical insulation between the shafts and housing.

• Version A: is fitted with hardened steel bevel gears and shafts, providing a maximum torque of 0.68Nm.
• Version B: features moulded polyacetal bevel gears on hardened steel shafts for lower torque applications up to 0.11Nm.

Both versions offer compact, maintenance-free performance for reliable light-duty operation.

The input and output shafts can be configured through either shaft A or shaft B, allowing flexible operation as a speed reducer or increaser. At a 1:1 ratio, the maximum speed is 1400rpm, while the 2:1 ratio supports reduction with input speeds up to 1400rpm (output up to 700rpm) or speed increase with input speeds up to 750rpm (output up to 1500rpm). The robust, one-piece cast aluminium housing is fully oil-tight and dust-proof, featuring hardened spiral-tooth gearing for smooth and reliable operation. Hardened, paired-lapped bevel gears ensure smooth and precise transmission, with special ratios available upon request. The units feature generously sized roller bearings, with reinforced bearing options available, and are lubricated for life with maintenance-free operation. Optional oil-change lubrication and food-grade NO-TOX lubrication systems can also be supplied. For high-speed operation, appropriate venting must be provided based on the mounting position and duty cycle. The gearboxes can be driven from either side A or side C for flexible installation.

Before commissioning, the plastic plug must be removed from the vent screw to allow proper pressure equalisation during operation.

Planetary Gearbox MPL

These lightweight, maintenance-free geared motors feature a corrosion-resistant aluminium housing with mounting holes for both foot and flange installation, plus a removable twist cap for easy servicing. The hardened and ground gearing is lubricated for life with synthetic oil, allowing operation in any mounting position without ventilation. Supplied with a standard B14 three-phase motor (230/400V, 50Hz), the range meets IE1 efficiency at 0.09kW, IE2 from 0.12 to 0.55kW, and IE3 from 0.75kW upwards. The versatile design includes a removable foot mount for easy conversion between foot and base-plate mounting. 

Helical Geared Motors NR/I, 230/400V, up to 1.5kW, up to 650Nm

These helical geared motors feature a rigid one-piece cast iron housing (GG25 or GGG40), providing high torsional stiffness for quiet operation, precise performance, and extended service life. The case-hardened and ground or scraped helical gears are manufactured from forged blanks and designed in accordance with DIN 3990. The gearboxes are supplied pre-filled with oil or grease for approximately 10,000 operating hours or 2 years of operation under normal conditions (-5°C to +40°C). They are fitted with 230/400V, 50Hz, IP55, Class F motors for continuous duty (S1), with IE3 energy efficiency and thermistor motor protection fitted as standard on motors from 0.75kW.

Version A is the standard screw jack configuration, in which the threaded spindle advances 1mm axially for each full rotation of the worm shaft and must be prevented from rotating during operation. The screw jack features a die-cast aluminium housing, pre-filled with lubricant, a worm gear set manufactured from ETG100 steel and Gbz12 bronze, and a C15 steel spindle (C45 from size 4). The gearbox is partially self-locking, although vibration, increased spindle pitch, or ball screw versions may require a brake motor.
