Hi, I am David Ramsey,
Co-founder and Director of YB Components Ltd

The company was set up in 1993 and originally called Yorkshire Bearings

My colleague, Andy Wheelhouse (who retired in 2023) and I left a national bearing company to offer a friendly personal service to a local network of manufacturing and engineering companies.

Not only did our network area spread quickly far and wide outside of Yorkshire, but the range of items we were selling increased so much that our company name felt a little restricted

So, in 2007, we changed the name to YB Components Ltd

The Internet brought huge changes to us opening sales opportunities around the world.

As I write, we have sold to 79 countries and almost every State in the USA.

Investing in larger stocks brings its own successes and so we continue to grow and expand
